Meet one of the owners (above) of Woodstock Burgers in Surf Side, Potrero, Costa Rica. Her and her husband founded this restaurant. He wanted to name it after Woodstock, the famous festival in the 1960’s since he was not able to go to it and always wanted to. She found Woodstock is also a bird from Peanuts.
Having been trained as a chef in Europe, she is a fantastic cook. She also started Carpe Diem, a breakfast restaurant also in Potrero. With the help of another family member, they founded this burger place.
These burgers are absolutely delicious! One of the cooks, who is also family, actually studied how to make the proper burger from YouTube. He got it right proving you can learn how to do pretty much anything on Youtube.
