Entering the Condo:
I will message you with the key code for the lockbox before you check in.
We have one outdoor camera next to the lockbox on the patio to monitor the lockbox. There are no other cameras inside or around our condo.
PARKING:
There is one parking space for this unit. It is right by the guard gate inside the gate.
You only get one space.
If you need another space you are welcome to park on the street in front of the guard station.
SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE CONDO OR ON THE PATIO OR BY THE POOL AREA. SMOKING IS ONLY ALLOWED IN THE PARKING LOT. THERE WILL BE A $1000 FINE FOR ANYONE CAUGHT SMOKING IN THE CONDO.
LOCATIONS OF COMMON ITEMS:
The pots and pans, plastic bowls, and cooking items, and flatware are in the kitchen drawers and cabinets.
Small appliances are under the counter in the corner by the refrigerator.
We have a rice cooker, coffee maker, toaster and blender.
We also have a teapot, coffee bean grinder, french press and one cup percolator.
Feel free to use the beach items in the back room, there are 2 shade tents, 6 chairs, 5 swim boards (for the pool only) , snorkel equipment and 2 beach bags. Beach towels are in the linen closet for you to use. Please do not leave the beach towels at the beach or by the pool, we need them for our guests who stay there after you.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE shake the sand outside the condo. Shake the sand of the of beach items before returning to the hooks or putting in the dryer.
There are shelves in the back utility to store your groceries.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not take any of these plastic cups, bowls or plates to the beach. We need these for the guests that stay in the condo after you.
There are cards and some games in the drawers under the TV for your enjoyment. Please put back in original order, other guests will be using after you stay there.
Included: Shampoo, conditioner, body wash are in each shower. 4 toilet paper rolls, hand soap, laundry detergent for a few loads, dish washing liquid with sponge, and dishwasher liquid or tablets are also provided for just a few washes.
We have bath towels, wash cloths, and hand towels in the linen closet. Dish towels are in the kitchen drawers.
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY TOWELS!!! PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY KITCHEN TOWELS. WE NEED THESE FOR OUR RENTERS FOLLOWING YOU. PLEASE DO NOT USE WHITE TOWELS TO REMOVE MAKEUP, USE THE DARKER WASH CLOTHS.
Trundle Sofa: Our sofa pulls out into a trundle. There are sheets in the long part of the couch, just lift it up. Please use the blue blanket on the sofa especially for pets.
PLEASE DO NOT SIT ON THE EDGE OF THE TRUNDLE PULLOUT OF THE SOFA, IT WILL BREAK. IT IS FRAGILE. DO NOT JUMP ON THE TRUNDLE PULLOUT, IT WILL BREAK. BE GENTLE TAKING OUT AND PUTTING AWAY, IT IS FRAGILE, IT WILL BREAK.
NETFLIX:
PLEASE DO NOT RESET THE NETFLIX USERNAME AND PASSWORD.
To sign in to our Netflix account smart TV:
- Click the Netflix button
- If the Netflix account is signed out, contact the property manager to sign you back in.
There is a HDMI cable in the drawer under the TV. Feel free to connect that to HDMI and plug to your PC or device.
We DO NOT have cable TV.
APPLIANCES:
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE shake the sand out of your clothes before washing. Sand will break the washer and dryer!
The stove is electric.
The washer and dryer are in the closet in the kitchen. PLEASE DO NOT WASH WHITE TOWELS WITH COLORS.
PLEASE DO NOT PUT CLOTHES OR TOWELS WITH SAND IN THE DRYER, THIS WILL BREAK THE WASHER AND DRYER!
SORRY OUR DRYER KNOB BROKE, PLEASE USE THE PLIERS IN THE BACK ROOM.
Directions for the Washer and Dryer (Cycle will need to be reset before starting the Washer): 
GARBAGE:
We recycle aluminum, plastic and cans by the guard gate in the big fish. Take any of your garbage there as well.
Lock Box Directions:
There is a lock box in the Master Bedroom closet. We attached a key to the box on the keychain that is included with the condo. Attached is directions to reset the code. We do not have a set code on the box, feel free to just use the key or to reset the code to your desired number.
THINGS TO DO:
Relax by the beach or pool, ATV, Horseback riding, surfing, sailing, fishing, hiking, exploring, zip-lining, bird watching, jet skiing … So much to do in Costa Rica. Contact us for recommendations.
Costa Rica is safe to drive. We recommend getting insurance at the car rental place and not online. Golf carts are also available to rent around Potrero.

RESTAURANTS:
Most local restaurants are delicious. There are a few within walking distance: Reparitos and the Pizzeria are great behind the complex, Loritos and gelato is across the street, and Las Brisas at the end of the street. La Jama, across from the soccer field is delicious and affordable too.
If you want to drive, Potrero has many more choices as well as Surf Side, Flamingo Beach, Brasilito. Mar Vista and Las Catalinas have restaurants. Tamarindo is only 30-40 minutes away with a many fantastic choices for dining. You could probably spend a month trying all the local restaurants within 30 minutes and still have not tried them all.

GROCERY SHOPPING:
There are about 4 small grocery stores within walking distance in of our condo in Potrero.
There are a few more as you drive to Tamarindo. Google Maps will show them all if you type in grocery. I would advise you stop at the Walmart on your way from Liberia if you are flying into Liberia.
And don’t forget to try the local farm stand on in Potrero, the local fruit and vegetables are just amazing.
GARBAGE:

HOUSE RULES:
No parties or events.
Pets: Small pets are allowed with a $100 extra cleaning fee. Pets need to be monitored at all time, there are wild animals around, beware. We are not responsible for your pet being attacked. Please encourage your pet not to get on the furniture. If they must, use a blanket to protect the furniture. You will be held responsible for any damage your pet causes. Pets are not allowed into the pool area!
No smoking inside the home or in the condominium common areas.
Please obey pool rules.
Please refrain from making noise past 10PM.
CHECK OUT:
Check out is 11am.
